The rising demand for clean, reliable, and uninterrupted electricity has led to the exploration of hybrid renewable energy systems as viable alternatives to conventional power sources. This study presents the design and implementation of a Hybrid Solar and Wind Powered Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), engineered to deliver sustainable and resilient energy solutions. By integrating solar photovoltaic panels with wind turbine generators, the system effectively harnesses complementary renewable resources, thereby ensuring a continuous power supply under varying environmental conditions. A smart power management controller regulates energy flow, prioritizing renewable sources while seamlessly switching to battery storage during low generation periods. This hybrid UPS not only reduces dependency on fossil-fuel–based grid power but also minimizes carbon emissions, making it an ecofriendly backup solution. Experimental results and simulations demonstrate improved energy efficiency, reduced downtime, and cost-effectiveness compared to conventional UPS systems. The proposed solution highlights the potential of hybrid renewable UPS technology as a next-generation backup system, capable of meeting the dual goals of energy reliability and environmental sustainability.
