Abstract

Career progression and career planning are important aspects of human resource management that help employees achieve professional growth, improve job satisfaction, and increase organizational commitment. This study focuses on analyzing the impact of career progression and planning on employee motivation levels in the fast food chain industry. Fast-food organizations require motivated employees, effective workforce management, and strong career development systems to maintain service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Career planning programs such as promotions, training and development, leadership opportunities, performance appraisal systems, rewards, and skill enhancement programs positively influence employee motivation and retention. The study examines employee perceptions regarding career growth opportunities, job satisfaction, organizational support, and motivational practices followed in fast food chain organizations. Technological advancements, digital training systems, and employee engagement programs have significantly improved career development practices in the industry. The study concludes that effective career progression and planning systems contribute significantly to employee motivation, workforce stability, organizational productivity, and long term business sustainability.
