DOI:
https://doi.org/10.64751/Abstract
The Warfield Spy Robot represents an advanced IoT-enabled surveillance and reconnaissance system designed for military and defense applications in hostile and hazardous environments where human presence poses significant risks to personnel safety. This intelligent robotic platform integrates multiple cutting-edge sensors including a fire detection sensor for identifying flame and heat signatures in combat zones, an ESP-CAM module for real-time high-definition video streaming and visual intelligence gathering, a GPS module for precise location tracking and geo-fencing capabilities, a vibration sensor for detecting ground movements, explosions, or enemy vehicle approach, and an IR (infrared) sensor for night vision and thermal detection of human presence in darkness. The system is powered by an ESP-32 microcontroller with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, running sophisticated software algorithms for sensor fusion, threat detection, and autonomous navigation. Output components include an LCD display for local status monitoring, a buzzer for audio alerts during critical detections, a robotic platform with motor-driven mobility for terrain navigation, and IoT connectivity enabling real-time data transmission to command centers through secure cloud infrastructure. The robot provides predictive location alerts by analyzing movement patterns, environmental hazards, and sensor data to forecast potential threat zones and optimize reconnaissance routes, significantly enhancing situational awareness for military operations while minimizing human casualties through remote surveillance capabilities in active combat scenarios.
