DATA ANALYTICS POWERED PLATFORM FOR SMART STUDY AND VIDEO-BASED LEARNING (STUDYMATE)

Abstract

The StudyMate platform is designed to provide an intelligent and efficient solution for students who face difficulty in understanding large volumes of study material, especially during examination periods. In many cases, students gather content from multiple sources such as textbooks, notes, and online materials, and spend significant time reading. However, continuous reading often leads to low comprehension, confusion, and reduced retention of concepts. To overcome this, students usually switch to video-based learning, but searching for relevant and accurate videos consumes additional time and may not always match their exact requirements. The proposed system addresses this problem by introducing a web-based platform that transforms traditional text-based study into an interactive and visual learning experience. The application allows users to input study content, which is then processed using advanced data analytics and Natural Language Processing techniques. The system summarizes the content into simple, easy-to-understand language, making complex topics more accessible to students of different learning levels. In addition to text summarization, the platform automatically generates AI-based educational videos from the given content. These videos include animation, relevant images, and synchronized voice narration to enhance understanding and engagement. The combination of visual and auditory learning helps students grasp concepts more effectively compared to traditional reading methods.
