Abstract

The increasing use of digital platforms for charitable fundraising has raised concerns regarding transparency, security, and misuse of funds due to reliance on centralized systems. Traditional fundraising applications store data on centralized servers, making them vulnerable to tampering, unauthorized modifications, and lack of accountability. To address these challenges, this project proposes a Blockchain-Powered Charity NFT Auction Platform that ensures secure, transparent, and tamper-proof management of donation and auction data. The system leverages blockchain technology to provide decentralized storage, where each transaction is recorded as a block linked with cryptographic hash functions, ensuring immutability and traceability. The platform integrates Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to represent unique digital assets associated with charitable causes, enabling transparent auction-based fundraising. Smart contracts, implemented using Solidity on the Ethereum blockchain, are used to automate and manage core functionalities such as user registration, auction creation, bidding, and donation tracking. These contracts eliminate the need for intermediaries and enforce predefined rules, ensuring trust and reliability in transactions. The system allows auctioneers to create charity auctions and donors to participate by contributing funds, with all transactions securely recorded on the blockchain. Experimental implementation demonstrates that the proposed system effectively prevents data tampering and ensures complete transparency in fund management. Each transaction is verifiable through blockchain logs, including block numbers, transaction IDs, and hash values. The decentralized architecture enhances data availability and resilience, while encryption ensures data security. Overall, the system provides a robust and trustworthy solution for charitable fundraising, promoting accountability and donor confidence through blockchain technology.
