Financial planning is the cornerstone of economic independence and wealth accumulation for individuals. In today’s digital era, where financial markets are volatile and uncertain, structured and software-driven financial planning has emerged as a necessity rather than a luxury. The growing adoption of technology in financial planning—ranging from budgeting applications to AI-powered robo-advisors—has significantly transformed how individual investors manage their finances. This research examines the financial planning behavior of individual investors, the tools they use, the influence of digital platforms on their decisions, and their readiness to adapt to technology-based financial systems. The study further explores how software systems are being used to deliver real-time insights, manage financial risks, and facilitate informed investment decisions. Through comprehensive analysis, this study aims to uncover the behavioral trends and technological readiness among individual investors and provides suggestions to enhance financial inclusion and investment efficiency using FinTech solutions.
