Abstract

Personal productivity is an important aspect of managing daily activities, academic responsibilities, professional tasks, meetings, deadlines, and personal goals. People often use multiple applications such as calendars, task managers, note-taking tools, reminder applications, and email platforms to organize their work. Managing information across different applications can become difficult and may result in missed deadlines, forgotten tasks, and inefficient time management. The Intelligent Agentic Personal Productivity Assistant is proposed as an AI-powered system that can understand user goals and autonomously assist with planning, organizing, prioritizing, and tracking daily activities. The proposed system uses Agentic AI and Natural Language Processing to understand user instructions expressed in natural language. Instead of requiring users to manually create every task or reminder, the assistant can interpret statements such as scheduling a meeting, completing an assignment, preparing a report, or following up with someone. The system can convert these instructions into structured tasks, calendar events, reminders, priorities, and action plans. An important feature of the system is its ability to reason and take actions based on user goals. The AI agent can analyze pending tasks, deadlines, available time, priorities, and dependencies to create a practical daily or weekly plan. It can identify overdue tasks, suggest schedule adjustments, provide reminders, summarize important information, and recommend what the user should focus on next. Authorized integrations can allow the assistant to work with calendars, task managers, email, notes, and other productivity tools. The system can provide a centralized productivity dashboard displaying upcoming tasks, calendar events, deadlines, priorities, progress, reminders, and productivity insights. The assistant can continuously observe changes in the user's authorized productivity data and update recommendations accordingly. For example, if a task becomes overdue or a meeting changes, the agent can reorganize the schedule and notify the user when appropriate. Overall, the proposed system aims to transform conventional productivity applications into an intelligent and proactive personal assistant. By combining Agentic AI, task planning, contextual reasoning, tool integration, reminders, and analytics, the system can reduce manual organization and help users manage their time more effectively. Privacy, user control, permissions, and confirmation requirements are important parts of the design, particularly when the assistant is allowed to perform actions on behalf of the user.
