Dynamic IPL Analysis Dashboard with Automated Data Refresh

The Indian Premier League produces large volumes of ball-by-ball and match-level data, but raw files and fixed statistics pages do not provide flexible, cross-filtered analysis. This paper presents a dynamic Power BI dashboard covering IPL seasons from 2008 to 2026. Historical delivery and match records from Cricsheet are combined with player and team dimensions, while the CricketData Series Search REST endpoint supports automated acquisition of current series metadata. Power Query performs extraction, cleaning, standardization, and merging; a related semantic model supports more than forty Data Analysis Expressions measures; and three linked pages provide overview, batter, and bowler analysis. The report includes season KPIs, capholder cards, a points table, player trends, boundary distributions, dismissal distributions, venue and opposition comparisons, page navigation, and scheduled refresh. Twelve functional, integrity, interactivity, and refresh tests passed, including a manual APIdriven update completed in under two minutes. The system demonstrates an end-to-end self-service sports-analytics workflow that converts granular cricket data into an accessible and maintainable decision-support dashboard.
