Efficient management of water resources is crucial for sustainable development, yet traditional systems often face challenges such as lack of transparency, data manipulation, and poor accountability. This project presents a Blockchain-Integrated Smart Water Distribution and Consumption Monitoring System designed to address these issues using decentralized technology. The system uses blockchain and smart contracts to securely record water allocation, billing, and payment transactions, ensuring that all data remains tamper-proof and transparent. Each transaction is stored with a unique cryptographic hash, preventing unauthorized changes. In addition, a machine learning module is incorporated to analyse water quality based on parameters such as pH, turbidity, conductivity, and carbon content, helping determine whether the water is safe for use. Administrators can manage water distribution and billing, while consumers can easily access their usage and payment details. Overall, the system enhances trust, efficiency, and reliability in water management.
